OTTAWA IRANIAN AND FARSI SPEAKING COMMUNITY COVID VACCINATION CLINIC

Please pay careful attention to the following if you are booking appointment at Bruyere Clinic:

  • Due to current provincial vaccine supply, everyone over 18 will get Moderna as a booster shot.  

    Great news! Moderna and Pfizer have been shown to offer equally effective protection against COVID-19. Both of these mRNA vaccines are fully interchangeable regardless of your past vaccinations.   

    You will not be able to select your vaccine brand. Vaccine type on the day of your appointment is based on supply and provincial directives.

    We are happy to answer any questions you have at the time of your appointment.

         Our clinic will offer: 

    • Booster shots to anyone 18 or older.  (PLEASE BE AWARE: NO booster shots for teenagers 12-17) 
    • Dose #1 or #2 for anyone 5 years and older
    • Dose #3 or #4 doses for immunocompromised patients  (more than 84 days from last injection)
  • A half dose of Moderna and full dose of Pfizer have been shown to offer equally effective protection against COVID-19. Both of these mRNA vaccines are fully interchangeable regardless of your past vaccinations.
  • You will not be able to select your vaccine brand. Vaccine type on the day of your appointment is based on supply and provincial directives.
  • There should be a minimum of 84 days between your 2nd dose and booster shot.
  • Regardless of Immigration status, anyone above the age of 18 can book an appointment at any of these pharmacies.
  • Please note that clinic capacity is subject to change in accordance to province rules and regulations.
  • If you have already booked an appointment at a later date, you may still register for this program, however, please make sure to cancel the previous appointment so that other people can book for their vaccine.
  • Registration for this clinic is completely voluntarily
  • All information will be considered strictly confidential and will be shared with public health authorities to finalize the appointment
  • Those with OHIP card, they should bring their card to their appointment.
  • Those without OHIP card, they need to bring government-issued identification to their appointment.
